Post An article on Cleveland.com mentions BookTalk.org
A recent article on Cleveland.com about me seeking out and thanking my 5th grade teacher for being wonderful to me can be read at...

http://www.cleveland.com/rocky-river/in ... teach.html

I was pleased to see Heather Taylor, the reporter for the newspaper, linked to BookTalk.org. :)

Unfortunately, she didn't have my 3rd, 4th or 6th chin Photoshopped out. So be gentle with the comments. 8)

I'm sorry you lost your mom at such a young age. What an inspiration you are. Lots of kids end up pretty messed up over something like that. It's pretty cool you were able to track someone down and let her know how much you meant to her. You probably made her feel great

Beautiful family. They're lucky to have such a thoughtful dad :)

Thanks for the kind words. She was an amazing teacher and person. We've been talking via email.

I hope other teachers read the article and get inspired to put their hearts into their interactions with each and every student. It can and does make a difference.

Lovely also to be able to put a face to the name, Chris. Think you must be a very special person to get through all that and still think of others. Your family look wonderful!
