Thanks for the links. I was very surprised to find that the free copy I had from Gutenberg also had notes which must have been made after 2004. I had thought there would be either no notes, or very old ones.

To my delight I found I had one of those free dvd's of the film that newspapers often give away. Although was very good, was quite annoyed cos I thought Queequeg was not portrayed as in the book, they missed a lot out. Must say Robert. this is another very good choice.
