3 votes for Matt Ridley's book. I've read two of his previous books, both of which were very good: Genome and Nature via Nurture.

It is already February 19th and The Hero with a Thousand Faces has about 3x the votes of the other two book choices. I'm going to announce The Hero with a Thousand Faces as the winner and create the new forum now. We want people to have time to order their books for the March, April and possibly May discussion period.
