Hi rkdoescher, what are you grieving about in this poem? Is it love? What do you mean about it being your first year of grief? How many years do you grieve for? Do you mean first year in love, at college or a new career, or first year where?

I just wanted to give you the opportunity to explain it a little.

These poems were written after I lost the love of my life from a prescription drug addiction/overdose. Describing the first year of the pain of losing not only the love we shared, but the physical presence along with all the questions that come with any type of death and some that are specific to this type of death. The what if's and if only's which are things we can never ever answer, but will always ask

Oh, I see. It's a collection of poetry that is true to the heart. Sometimes poetry is made up, so when reading the preview available on amazon, I assumed it was about someone grieving unrequited love but your own explanation makes what the poetry is about a lot clearer. I'm sorry for your loss.
