The list of acknowledgments seen at the end of contemporary publications is similar to Book One. Marcus Aurelius acknowledges fewer people but goes into great depth about the advantages and wisdom they gave him, unlike modern acknowledgments that may list dozens and dozens of names with little information about what they did. Some of these are really fascinating.
