Post Major Characters at a glance
There are only a few characters in TMWWT; but I am providing this list for easy reference during your reading. There is however, one detail a about everyone except Gregory, Rosamond and Syme which I have omitted in order not to spoil the story.

MAJOR CHARACTERS
• Lucian Gregory - A red-haired poet of Saffron Park who professed to be an anarchist.

• Rosamond Gregory - Lucian’s sister, she finds Syme’s perspective as a poet of order refreshing.

• Gabriel Syme – THURSDAY -The protagonist, a poet who becomes an undercover officer for Scotland Yard in order to infiltrate and destroy a notorious anarchist coterie. He is accepted into the inner circle under the code name Thursday.

• Sunday - An enormous and imposing man who is the President of the Central Anarchist Council.

• Secretary – MONDAY -The Secretary of the Anarchist Council, also known as Monday, has a crooked smile that makes him look cruel and ruthless.

• Gogol – TUESDAY - A Polish member of the Council who is also known as Tuesday. He looks like a stereotypical anarchist.

• Marquis de St. Eustache – WEDNESDAY - An aristocrat known as Wednesday.

• Professor de Worms – FRIDAY - An old man, seemingly senile, who is known as Friday.

• Dr. Bull – SATURDAY - A medical practitioner who always wears dark glasses and is also known as Saturday.

• Colonel Ducroix - Serves as a second to St. Eustache in the duel, then joins forces with the detectives as they flee Sunday’s minions.
