Greetings! I'm Todd Brockdorf, best-selling author of Better than Average: Excelling in a Mediocre World, but because this is not a promotion forum, I won't be discussing any more about it. In addition to blogging, speaking, and writing, I am an avid reader. I usually have 3 books going at once - a non-fiction, a fiction, and an audio book. Primary non-fiction reads are business books. Fiction is an eclectic mix of whatever looks interesting at the time.
Looking forward to joining the discussion.

Hi Todd Brockdorf,
I just answered your poll: 7. Sometimes more, sometimes less. The vast majority is fiction. And yes, I am a bookhopper

I used to be a one at a timer, but lately I've been reading two at a time. I have been trying one fiction and one non-fiction book of essays so that I don't weave the stories together and it's working out pretty well.

What a coincidence. I was going to ask this very question a few days ago.
On average, I read 2 books at a time.
I'd really like to cut it to just one.

I usually have one going on my Kindle, and 2 or three or the old school format going, there is the one I am reading before I go to sleep, one in my kindle and I have one in the livingroom, eventually one of them will get toward the end and I will actually move them around with me so I can finish.
