Hi, I'm The Legendary Poet!

Unread post

Hello people! I am Joseph D. Smith(kyjds), and I am from a small town known as Glasgow, KY, in the United States of America. I consider myself as a legendary poet, whether people know me or not, and I often-times refer to myself as The Legendary Graduate, because of an amazing graduation ceremony that I had in Barren County! I am high-functioning autistic, so I may have a hard time knowing when something is appropriate or not, so please forgive me and be patient with me. I also have a younger autistic sister, who was diagnosed with a low-functioning form of autism, but she is the center of my family's life, even now that she is a full-grown adult!

My biggest interest is poetry, as mentioned above, and it is probably the only thing that I can read with ease. I have a hard time visualizing things in my mind. I guess you can say that my "mind's-eye" is highly underdeveloped, and almost blind. I can hear and feel things just fine in my mind, and I can almost see things, but it's just hard to visualize. But how did I become so creative without a visual mind? It's fascinating.

I will answer the following questions, truthfully, and honestly:

Are you male or female? - Male, and proud! Even though I am bisexual, I am still comfortable with my gender.
Where are you from? - Glasgow, KY, USA; the same town that Diane Sawyer is from!
What are your hobbies or special interests? - I love the spirit of competition, and I can be way too competitive at what I play or do. I love to write, especially poetry, which helps me as a therapeutic agent. I am an avid artist and fan of art, as I can see the art in everything, and I am quite the art critic! I love to take photos, and I love just about any kind of music, as I am sort of a musician myself.
What sort of books do you enjoy reading? - I can only read poetry books. I have a huge problem with dyslexia, which runs in my family, from both sides. I can write just fine, but I don't know how that even makes sense when I can't even read half the time!
How did you find BookTalk.org? - Well, there is a list of websites where people can promote their books, and I found the site through it. It's from a website called Savvy Writers & e-Books online, a WordPress blog.

Anything else you wanna know about me, just ask, even if you have private questions that need to be discussed in a private message. I have much experience with message boards and their software, so I can help with those types of questions too! Thanks for having me here, and may God bless you, forever.
