Hi everyone. I'm Matt & I'm trying to be an author. I've published 3 ebooks via Amazon and I'm enjoying the early stages of my career. Right now it's a hobby, but I want it to be my full time job. I've had more success then I imagined & hope to keep the momentum going.

I'm from Massachusetts & love all things New England, especially Cape Cod. Thanks & I hope to get to know some of you.

And consume as many books as you can. Enjoy the books if you must, but focus on the mechanisms. Introspection is key. Pick out recurring elements from parts that pique your curiosity or elicit emotion, then use them as a template.

Be oblique in all aspects-scenes/words used/idiosyncracies you focus on. First drafts typically contain too much that is stereotypical. Add a twist or unique feature to anything that comes across as too common.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.” - Douglas Adams
