Hello everyone! I'm Kate.
Vancouver-based editor and copywriter at a digital marketing agency. English-German translator. But most importantly, book lover.
I've been lurking around for quite a long time and finally decided to join. Looking for a creative and positive community to discuss books and literature in general.

Thanks for checking in with us, and best of success with your writing. I don't recognize your flag and am always interested in the faraway places that some members write from.

Welcome to the site.
If I may ask, what kind of books do you enjoy reading? I recently read Breath, Eyes, Memory by Edwidge Danticat: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breath%2C_Eyes%2C_Memory
When it comes to books I enjoy, I'm all over the place. I love historical novels, short stories, and books that make me think.

Hi, I'm new here too. Your story sounds interesting, I've been working in that direction too. How are you liking it? Lots of complications, but I think it's mostly okay. I adore books too, that's what led me to the profession.

Hi k_leh and also Amber. Always glad to discover new readers, and hear their stories. As for me, I am a lawyer and cattle rancher (retired from both) who has been reading since I was about 5 years old. I like almost all genres, both fiction and nonfiction, and dabble at writing myself. Enjoy talking to other readers and writers.
