Have you ever returned an item to a store for a refund after having used it?

I only have if I use it and it doesn't work, or if it doesn't live up to expectations. Which makes sense.

I have indeed. And it was a BOOK! Obviously, this poor thing had not had the pleasure of being proofread before being printed. I have never seen so many spelling and grammatical errors. One chapter was skipped over entirely whereas one was doubled.

What a funny story. I guess the young woman working in the shop thought it was some sort of performance art executed by a book. Cool idea.

Haha yes! I returned Sims 3 after having played it once, because my computers didn't have the requirements. They gave me store credit.
I did use it to buy a couple more games, so it's not so bad, I guess?
I love best buy though. They don't check anything you return; they just take it back.
