I thought this would be interesting. Youkrst, you gave Satan too much credit. He does not have the power to "blind the minds of them that believe not." That statement is way too much a misrepresentation of anything possible. Are you saying since you "believe not" he then has the ability to "keep you from seeing truth?"

For one you assuming that he has some "God" type power. He is just a created being - well according to the account you guys don't believe. If anything, you would have to attribute GOD as having the power to keep you from seeing something, even though, that is not his desire.

Now to portray him properly he does have the ability to discern your weaknesses and desires and work to DECEIVE you of truth.

You can't have it both ways. Illogical.

You might also want to read verse 6 " For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

How can disbelieving people then be blinded - and then, become enlightened to the truth of God.

You have made an impossible scenario.

Claiming a verse to prove one point, but 2 verses later disproves your case. Good try but IMPOSSIBLE!
