I am currently reading Fever Dream and wish I could read faster. Pendergast is on the trail of the person who murdered his wife, Helen, 12 years ago.

I thoroughly enjoy their writing, and never tire of it.
Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.
