Favorite and Least Favorite Characters

Unread post

Who are your favorites? Who are your least favorites? Who are you most curious or confused about? I thought about trying to make a poll out of this but these things change so much that it would be rather useless to do it that way. Feel free to post every time you change your mind. :D

Oh, and just in case anyone didn't know, if you go to full edit instead of quick post there are spoiler tags that can be used to hide any spoilers for people who haven't read the book yet. I would humbly suggest that if you post anything past book 1 please say so in case someone has only finished book 1 and doesn't wish to see spoilers from future books. The "spoiler" button will show up like this:
Spoiler
Testing
And the "spoiler=" button will show up like this.
Spoiler
Testing
(No, I do not think you guys don't already know this, I just haven't seen it used yet on this forum so I wanted to make sure people know how to use it. It's a very handy feature for books like this.)

I'm most curious about Bran, Arya, Rickon and Jon
Spoiler
Arya seems to be taking an express course on "facelessness" and I wonder how that'll affect her character, and her relationship with the rest of her family... Who will Arya be later on? Will we ever get to see? Will she get her revenge? And what about Nymeria? She seems to be out there mustering up The Worlds Largest Wolfpack. I'm sure that's going to be relevant.
Bran on the other hand, just screams badass. This kid's communing with the weirwoods, talking to the children, mindmelding with Hodor... I have this dream that at some point Hodor will become Bran's alternate "body", but I see little hope for it, given the perceived immorality of controlling another human being.
And meanwhile, while Arya's off learning how to kill people for a living and Bran's becoming Professor Xavier, Rickon is silently turning into a psychopath... I wonder what'll he become... if he grows up.
And yeah, Jon's awesome. I think Scrumfish totally called it, he's Rhaegar's son..
So Jon, turns out your one of the two remaining Targaryen... guess that puts on a lot of pressure for marrying your half-sister huh? Oh, but you're still a bastard, sorry buddy.
I wonder how he'll survive beyond ADwD though. I've read all kinds of wild speculations... but really, can he even survive being repeatedly stabbed?
That being said, Tyrion remains my favorite character.

Tyrion is my absolute favorite. Close runner ups for me are Jon, Arya and poor Eddard.
"Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs.
I am haunted by waters.”
