Can't you get even a simple fact straight? On the matter of obstruction, Mueller's report did not exonerate Trump, leaving his guilt open. Not even the finding that Trump & Co. didn't conspire to collude is exoneration. It's a finding that they weren't guilty of a chargeable crime.

You disagree with your man on "mobster" Mueller. Trump says now that Mueller acted honorably. Might that have just a little to do with Mueller's judgment that Trump being pro-Russia wasn't illegal?

This is a similar pattern to the so-called "rigged" election that got Trump elected. The Russian investigation was always a "witchhunt" until it didn't actually find collusion with Russia. Now it's the Democrat's attempt to oust a duly elected POTUS. The narratives shift and change.

The narrative coming from the far right is that the Russia investigation was started by Democrats in an effort to get to Trump. But this wasn't a Democrat investigation. And it wasn't out to get Trump. It was intended from the beginning to investigate Russia's influence in the 2016 election. Mueller followed the evidence and turned up what he did. There was in fact Russian influence in the 2016 election and it was our duty to investigate the level of foreign influence. The investigation uncovered numerous instances of malfeasance and leveled criminal charges against 34 people, including three Trump associates. The investigation did exactly what it set out to do. I call that a success.

Exonerated? That's a joke. Trumps' presidency continues to be an embarrassment for our nation. He lies all the time. He shows a poor understanding of our laws and traditions. He is a proven sham artist to anyone who is willing to look. To say that Trump is "exonerated" is the Kool-aid that the far right is drinking. These people are so enmeshed with their narratives that they no longer care about facts and truth. They are extremists and becoming more irrational all the time. I have no idea how this will end.

One Trump statement is true at least. He could shoot someone on the street and his base simply wouldn't care. They would rationalize the act a million different ways, just as they do with the Trump University sham, the bankruptices and legal entanglements and his continued mockery of the presidency. We truly live in a post-truth world.

No he botched the first sentence and disinformed from there. Obviously the report is not out, only a four page summary, and currently the GOP is fighting that release. No need to read KS's post any further. (We'll see what happens with the report...)

Screech away leftists. You are no longer relevant.

You just spent two years sporting tin foil caps during the mother of all conspiracy theories, Russiagate, and now your foil is covered with the batshit of the "Green New Deal." The US Senate just voted on that...they turned it down in a unanimous vote. 57 against, and 43 "present." Democrats are now so marginalized that they have to speak up and tell the world that they're "present" at official functions. I love it.

Russiagate got Trump re-elected. Voters won't believe the next Big Lie that the Dems make up. The boy who cried wolf.

Now that the phony Russiagate thing has been put to bed, we can get on to REAL issues, like Spygate.

Exclusive — Rand Paul: Need to Determine if Barack Obama, Loretta Lynch Were in on Spying on Donald Trump Campaign
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) wants to know if former President Barack Obama and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch were in on the decisions to spy on President Donald Trump’s campaign and lend credence to the phony dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign that gave way to what became the investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. ... Paul said there needs to be a full investigation into the origins of all of this, in particular what appears to be abuse by the Obama administration when it comes to using foreign surveillance wiretap powers. ... "...all of the information that was transforming how and why they got those FISA warrants should be made public too,” Paul said. “Everybody should be allowed to read who’s making the decisions and what were their arguments for why anybody should respect or believe this dossier that was paid for by the Clinton campaign.
breitbart.com/politics/2019/03/27/exclu ... -campaign/

The issuing of the FISA warrants is key to Spygate. What hand did Obama have in using a dossier that everybody know was a Clinton-paid-for fiction to obtain the warrants to spy on Trump?

Trump Announces Major Offensive Against Deep State Coup
FISA abuses, leaks, and Clinton crimes will all be investigated, says president

President Trump, in an exclusive wide-ranging interview Wednesday night with Fox News’ “Hannity,” vowed to release the full and unredacted Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants and related documents used by the FBI to probe his campaign, saying he wants to “get to the bottom” of how the long-running Russia collusion narrative began. Trump told anchor Sean Hannity that his lawyers previously had advised him not to take that dramatic step out of fear that it could be considered obstruction of justice. “I do, I have plans to declassify and release. I have plans to absolutely release,” Trump said.

This will be so, so bad for the Obama/Clinton people. Clinton will be convicted of espionage (a special prosecutor could use Spygate to look at her Secretary of State emails and track her double-dealings there), and Obama will have to flee the country to avoid...whatever can be done to him. Is he above prosecution for planting spies in the Trump campaign?

This is a very good video clip:

Bannon: Today is the most important day of Trump's presidency
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0V7w0R12eos

Steve Bannon recorded today, May 6. He talks about how much fortitude it has taken for Trump to deal with America's TRUE enemy, the Communist Chinese. The previous 3 presidents worked to transfer America's wealth to the ChiComs. Bannon calls it the Managed Decline of America. But Trump has refused to sell out the American people on this issue. And he's a tough negotiator, just like Reagan was. The Berlin Wall came down primarily because Reagan walked away from negotiations with Gorbachev in Iceland. That is the moment that Trump is facing now, while the mainstream, Leftist-controlled media bleats about Russia Russia Russia, racist racist racist. The ChiCom-loving Deep State's primary job is to keep America from achieving friendly relations with Russia. A Russian-American alliance would spell ruin for the global banking cartel.

Obama by far deported more people than Trump. But somehow Trump gets all the media bashing.

I couldn't read the article due to the paywall. Obama did deport more people than Trump has, apparently. He kept it on the down-low, in contrast to Trump, whose campaign was built on promises to deport everyone here without papers. Does this speak to competence during Obama's terms, whatever you think of the volume of deportations? Across the board, Trump has been largely incompetent, and that is something the Dem contenders will surely be hammering.

The bulk of the bad press Trump has received on immigration came from two sources, his botched and cruel family separation program and his racist fearmongering.

What would be your solution if someone is trying to cross the border illegally? Basically, if you see your country as your home, what do you do if someone is trying to break into?

Does that work for states? I grew up in California. But so many people came in from Indiana and Iowa and Virginia and Tennessee that I can't afford to live there anymore. Should I have stood my ground with a shotgun?

More seriously, we have had immigration for a long, long time, and it never seems to bring the ruin predicted by nativists. After a while, don't people begin to wonder if it might actually be a good thing? Most economic studies of immigration confirm the theoretical prediction that immigration is good for the destination country.
