Re: "The Nasty Bits" by Anthonry Bourdain

I liked Kitchen Confidential. I'll have to pick up the new one. Thanks for the recommendation. Sure thing, it's not his NEWEST book, he came out with another series of shorts last year or so... "Medium Raw," which isn't nearly as good as "The Nasty Bits." Overall I think TNB was...

"The Nasty Bits" by Anthonry Bourdain

I watched "No Reservations" for like two years before I realized Bourdain actually got his start as an author, as soon as it clicked I went out and picked up "Kitchen Confidential" which was pretty good. I liked "The Nasty Bits" a lot more though, the stories are a lot ...

Re: how often do you guys read a book?

Depends on what's going on in life, basically always during a plane flight, at least one every two or three days if I get a beach vacation, but when work gets crazy very rarely since I'm in front of the computer so dang much.

currently reading "The Whiskey Rebels"

It started off really fast but kind of drags here and there, still a really interesting work of historical fiction though. And I think it's fairly accurate and well-researched, although I'm not really sure. Not as good as say "Eye of the Needle" but still worth picking up if you're interes...

holler at a baller

Hey guys, just hoping to find some new good books to read since Amazon's customer reviews seem to have gotten less and less dependable. "Gates of Fire" and "Beach Music" are probably two of my all-time favorite books, but I like some sci-fi as well, "Stranger in a Strange La...
