Re: Did OJ do it?

Unread post

Where exactly were you all when the verdict was announced?I was at the University of South Florida gym. I'd just finished a workout and was standing in front of a big screen television with a large group of people waiting to hear the verdict. There had to have been 70 people in front of that TV staring anxiously. When the verdict was read I will never forget how the majority of the black students reacted. Most people stood there shocked that he was going to walk away a free man, but the blacks actually jumped up and down shouting and dancing and high-fiving each other. One particular student repeated over and over, "My boy just got away with murder!!!" It was blatantly obvious that everyone there was shocked at the verdict, but the black students were cheering and happy.
