Check out The Beautiful and Damned. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Beautiful_and_DamnedZoey141 wrote:I am currently rereading the Great Gatsby. I was teaching this novel to my niece and she asked me if I remembered the color symbolism in the novel. She particularly wanted to know what does the green light symbolize in the great gatsby. I figured I'd better brush up on the themes and symbolism before I discussed the book with her again next weekend. Phew! Kids really do make you work.

I'm almost done with Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. I'm really enjoying it!
Next, I plan on reading The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black.

Re: Currently reading
I am currently reading the Metro book series (Because I played the video game and thought it was interesting)
Before this one, I read a book called Nihilpunk Part I: An Odyssey of Nothingness that is pretty good too. It is a little unknown as of today, but... Well, the amazon link is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08WZ1X5WZ if you want to give it a shot.

Just Finished "Ashley Bell" by Dean Koontz. Typical Koontz, page turner, lots of action and plot twists, and naturally, a Golden Retriever.
Currently 'reading; (via audio book) "The War Lord" by Bernard Cornwell. The final book in his The Last Kingdom/Saxon Tales series.
