Cowboy Science Fiction: A MUST Read!
Author Christopher Stires has created the ultimate must-read cowboy novel! Starbeasts is an action-packed, gun-slinging good read that takes place in the unsettled west. In Wyoming 1895, in the dark of the night falls the creatures from another world. With a hefty award on the line for the carcasses, a posse of heroes band together in search of the beasts. Hugh Preston, the lead hero with his love Laci by his side, battles against time to uncover the whereabouts of the bloodthirsty creatures before they kill again. The sidekick, the ever humorous and slightly uneducated Reno, discovers through their adventure that he has the potential to make more out of himself—if he survives the ordeal. Romance, suspense, humor and villains all play their part as the story unfolds and the heroes weather unforgiving terrain in this adventure that has it all. Where the bad guys get what’s coming to them, and other-worldly creatures that harbor a unique humanistic touch, this novel is sure to paint the colorful picture of what a cowboy would be thinking if such strange happenings would occur in this time frame. I highly recommend the novel Starbeasts for an excellent story that will leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next?

What jumps out at me from that post is the name "Laci." Everytime I read the names Laci, or Lacey, or Lacy, what I see in my mind's eye is a hot chick in lingerie. I would dearly like to date a woman named Lacy, but I would never name a daughter Lacy. Sometimes I wondered if this made me weird or a pervert. I stopped wondering. Don't really care if it does or doesn't. Now I just enjoy seeing the name Lacy and thinking about a hot chick in lingerie.
Reading is great in so many ways.
