Court Rules Against Enemy Combatant Policy

Unread post

The Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit ruled on Ali Saleh Kahlah Al-Marri v. Commander S.L. Wright, USN Commander, Consolidated Naval Brigade granting Al-Marri habeas relief. The Court found that the government must release Al-Marri from military custody within a reasonable time. I have yet to read the Opinion but thought I would link it for anyone interested.

Court Rules Against Enemy Combatant Policy

I wonder how many previously harmless people we're turning into extreme enemies of the US by prolonged periods of incarceration.

Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree.

Yeah, christianity makes sense.

Oh I don't know how "harmless" Al-Marri is......but he is most definitely being held illegally. I'm only through a piece of the Opinion but it is gaped-mouth astonishing.
