Books From Your Youth
I'm guilty of regularly (once every couple of years) reading books I enjoyed as a youth. I'm curious if anyone else does this to revisit those books that made them happy as a kid.
Some of my favorites:
The Black Stallion The Four-Story Mistake The Adventures of the Mad Scientists' Club The New Adventures of the Mad Scientists' Club The Boxcar Children

All Quiet on the Western Front made a big impact on me when I was in middle school. Since that time, I've read it several times. I really helps me remember how good I've got it.

I have always wanted to go back and read these books I read in my youth but have not, yet...
The Crystal Cave The Hobbit The Pearl To Kill a Mockingbird Encyclopedia Brown (any of these short stories. I feel like this is what got me into reading to begin with)

Why are the books , THE SECRET GARDEN AND HEIDI ,so similar in their writing and contexts . I have not only read and re- read these two classics but I've not heard of anyone questioning this. Taking into consideration where and when Heidi was first introduced and , then The Secret Garden.
