Why settle for a lesser evil? Have you let Cthulu into your life?
Here is an interesting article about H.P. Lovecraft and the Cthulu mythology.
He was a self proclaimed atheist and his fiction was always meant for entertainment. There is plenty of writing, from his own hand, that explains that his characters are fictional, and that there are no gods.
...and yet, people have started to form cults around his characters.
You don't always have to try to fool people. Most of the time, they do it to themselves.

There's Jesus, some Rakshaza, an indian god, Thor(with a spear?), Asian god, boobs, Cthulu, Ceasar, Zeus, a Djinni, Osiris, some Voodoo dude, then Superman. And some green hitler looking kid under the table.

I'll drop the pantheon list in a day or so.
"Boobs" was not the god in question. All of these are depicted with their accoutrement as much as i could find, that includes standing on top of green Hitler looking dudes, or holding a spear and being accompanied by a raven.
All are gods and not human, or god-kings.

Not Thor - it is Odin with raven and eyepatch.
Not Osiris - it is Horus with the hawk head
The hitler kid is ignorance being trampled by Vishnu
"an indian god" is about as vague as you can get.
The voodoo dude is Ghede
The Manly P Hall lecture that Tat recently posted claims some of the Last Supper is based on the constellations of the zodiac, especially Judas with the dagger matching to the constellation of Scorpius.

yes, that is my work, though obviously based on the last supper and using reference imagery.
As i noted in my user gallery, i am in the process of blowing this image up to an obnoxious and totally awesome 77" x 36". It will hang proudly in my living room, obscuring the couch.
The gods i used for reference, left to right, are:

i had to take some liberties with ba'al and ranginui.
I didn't find a lot of good imagery to describe their human-like appearance. Ba'al especially, once being conflated from the lord on high, to the lord of the flies, and then dragged through the mud by early christian opponents.
