Post What song is stuck in your head today?
In the discussion of Musicophilia: Tales of Music and Brain, there is a chapter about music that gets stuck in people's heads. I know this happens to everyone, and it can be either pleasant or incredibly obnoxious. I think it would be fun and maybe even therapeutic to share your "brainworms," as the author of Musicophilia explains them. Please share with us! Anything from a movie you just watched, the new Lady Gaga monstrosity, to 1-800-SAFE-AUTO commercials. Whatever's stuck in your head.

So, come on, tell us: What's stuck in your head today?

That stupid McDonald's commercial "Give me back my filet-o-fish, give me that fish" has been playing a continuous loop in my head since I woke up this morning. I am getting ready to blow my brains out!

Oh my God, I hate that commercial and the damn ditty that really does stick no matter how terrible it really is!

I had Gloria by Them stuck in my head, but now that I've listened to it, I'm ok. :)

Post Re: What song is stuck in your head today?
Well, NOW it is "here I Go Again" by Whitesnake...I wonder where that could have come from? (glances at bleachededen) The problem with '80's hairband rock? it usually takes another '80's hairband rock song to get it out.....

Or maybe....a POWERBALLAD!!!! You know...."Every Rose has it's thorn.....just like every night has it's dawn....just like every cowboy sings a sad, sad song........."

"Toy Boy" by Mika.

Oh, froglipz, I am so sorry, that one is like superglue! You may need an even more powerfully sticky song to get rid of it...I suggest Journey. Any Journey. I hate Journey, but their songs are catchy as hell.
Good luck!

Mika's "Golden" with a huge emphasis on the British pronounciation of golden.

Not really stuck like an ear worm, but I have been semi-intentionally playing my favorite passages from Led Zepplin III and Zoso. Less intentional but pleasant as well are a few bars from the soundtrack of Sherlock Holmes.
