Re: What song is stuck in your head today?
Well, it's a departure from my earlier musical posts, but my tastes have always been eclectic. Lately it's been one of Weird Al Yankovic's newer songs. I'll let you decide if you understand the humor of it by letting you watch it here:

I haven't heard the Gaga song so parody attempts will mostly fail with me... but I did get a kick out of the ~ wear cheese on my head ~ line, or whatever it was. Beyond that I want to comment on how stunning Al looks - - he's got to be getting up there in age. I know he had quite a bit of makeup on but unless there were some serious editing effects in place he's aged quite well.

Yay Robert, I don't like yer politics man, but I love yer songs:-
Can I tag this one on to yours because I think it is so relevant. Bob Marley really was a prophet.
Redemption Songs, is inspiring and reassuring without being the least bit jingoistic...
Old pirates, yes, they rob I Sold I to the merchant ships Minutes after they took I From the bottomless pit But my hand was made strong By the hand of the almighty We forward in this generation Triumphantly Won't you help to sing These songs of freedom? 'Cause all I ever have Redemption songs Redemption songs Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery None but ourselves can free our minds Have no fear for atomic energy 'Cause none of them can stop the time How long shall they kill our prophets While we stand aside and look? Ooh Some say it's just a part of it We've got to fullfil the book

Layla by Eric Clapton....i was named after it, and I used to hate it. Now I can tolerate the live acoustic version, but I still cant stand the rock version, except for the piano solo at the end; that's pretty
