Kreutzer Sonata by Leo Tolstoy.
My aunt had visited Yasnaya Polyana, Tolstoys home. She brought with her
a copy of an old photograph of Tolstoy's wife trying to to look into the window of the
train station where Tostoy was staying before his death. He had escaped his tumultous marriage and fell ill
before he got to his next home.
The Kreutzer Sonata is a story of a broken marriage... revealed as confession on a train ride through a Russian night.

Currently wading through Nietzsche's "Antichrist" it's a bit of a doozie, and rather scary.

I'm not reading anything. I'll soon be starting either Pearl Buck's The Good Earth, Crane's The Red Badge of Courage, or a Native American narrative called Black Elk Speaks.
