A lot going on in this forum. Janet Evanovich's books are great. I love all of her Stephanie Plum books and have read through 18, I haven't seen the movie yet for One for the Money. I'm worried it will not be as good as the books. Her Wicked series is also good. I've only read the first one of those though. The Help was a great book and I'm looking forward to watching the movie as well.
I also enjoy Nora Roberts. I hadn't read her in a while as I just needed a break from that type of book, but I read two while at the beach and really enjoyed both of them - Chasing Fire and The Search. I just finished today Lisa Scottoline's - Everywhere that Mary Went (a mystery). I started Moby Dick to read that and participate in the second discussion forum on it and will probably pick up another novel. Possibly another Scottoline novel - Final Appeal (another mystery).

Re: What are you currently reading?
Just got done with Laurell K. Hamilton's "Hit List" and am now reading "The House at Riverton by Kate Morton. My reading is pretty much all over the place now that I am reading recommendations from book club members, but many of these have been very good suggestions and for books that I would probably never have read otherwise.
Re: What are you currently reading?
Was that the one that was made into a movie? It started a little slow but I ended up loving it. Perhaps I will pick up the book.wilde wrote:"The Help." I really like it so far!
Take care,

TK; yes it was. I also read the book, but haven't seen the movie. I do remember that one of the actresses who potrayed a maid won an Academy Award for her performance.

Casey 2012 - have you read Hamilton's other Anita Blake books? I've enjoyed the series so far and I've read Hit List, but I haven't read the newest one yet "Kiss the Dead."
