Escape from Scientology

Unread post

I found the following article interesting and wanted to share it with you guys. Troy Conrad is an X-Scientologist who managed to break away from
the clutches of the religion and eventually become an agnostic atheist.

Here is a humorous snippet to entice you to click the above link and read the rest of the article:
Here’s something nice about Scientology: they hardly ever kill anyone. As a matter of fact, Scientology would have to kill exactly 128,767 people per day until for all of 2013 just to catch up to the combined totals for the murders committed by all other religions. The fact that they only occasionally kill someone is a huge perk. It's a wonder that fact isn't used in their marketing materials. “Free personality test today - and if by rare chance we ever kill you, it will almost certainly be an accident.” Scientology rarely kills in the literal sense, because they don’t need to. When their lawyers are done with you, you’ll wish you were dead.

Life and these lips have long been separated:
Death lies on her like an untimely frost
Upon the sweetest flower of all the field.”

Interesting, he does have an oddly humorous take on it -- I see he's a comedian -- given that it's a real scam that is apparently ruining many peoples' lives.
