Sorry for the down time!
If you attempted to log in recently and saw that BookTalk.org was down I want to apologize. Our hosting company experienced a "Denial of Service" attack and that attack brought down every site on the server. We were down for about 16 hours total time. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this caused all of you.

Hey, no problem, Chris. We know you were staying up the whole time sweating bullets over lines of code...or something. The apology wasn't necessary, but thanks. Isn't it weird, as heledd said, how the thought flickers through your mind when you're locked out, "Oh no, did I do something wrong?" Or maybe it's just those of us with guilty consciences.

Re: Sorry for the down time!
I'd like to say I was sweating over lines of code but I rely on David for the intricate site stuff. I handle basic edits but David is our web guru and without him I'd be in trouble. In this case there wasn't much he could do once the hosting company admitted the problem was theirs and not ours. At first they were pointing fingers and this wasted a great deal of time and energy as we tried to fix things.
