ohhkristina's Introduction

Unread post

Hello! My name is Kristina. I'm a 19 year old pre-med student from Tampa, Florida. My interests include reading (obviously), writing (journal, etc.), photography, vegetarianism, and too many more to list.I work full time and go to school full time, so I have a pretty full schedule. When I'm not working and going to school, I'm taking care of my animals. I keep two snakes (colombian red tail boa and malaysian red blood python), a blue tongued skink, a timneh african grey parrot, a sun conure, a betta fish, a spirabolus millipede, a grey tabby cat, and a silky terrier. *sigh* that's a long list!Anyway, hello to all. Nice to meet you. Looking forward to being part of this community.-Kristina

KristinaWelcome to BookTalk! I'm an animal lover too. But a millipede? I'll have to run a search on pet millipedes. What do you feed them? Do they bite?Chris

Chris - The millipede eats decayed vegetation. Basically, I take some cucumber and romaine lettuce, sit it in the sun for a few hours, and throw it in his enclosure. He's a really neat creature.

That actually sounds like a pretty fun pet. And low maintenance too.
