Totally Gratuitous Self-Promotion: Doulos

Unread post

Hello,

I'm male, married, with three stereotypically wonderful children (who have as yet not committed any serious violent crimes).

I enjoy reading anything with text. If I sit down at dinner and find an ad for women's hygiene products lying there, I WILL be uncontrollably drawn to it and will read it several times with intent interest. I kid you not!

In terms of 'favourite' reads, I lean towards history, sociology and religion.

My hobbies strangely include forum discussions (though actual face-to-face discussions are far preferable), rugby, and good food. 'Good' in this context being defined as great tasting, sufficient in quantity, and worth the price paid for it.

I could tell you more, but that would remove all element of mystery...

Do you have the ingredients on the shampoo bottle in your bathroom memorized? I have the same odd habit, I have to read everything, even if I've already read it. Maybe it's an unintentional method of avoiding boredom. Or something.

Not memorized  . I have an odd filter in my head that seeks to forget 'unimportant' details.

I do read them carefully though. A few weeks ago, I had to inform my wife that she'd bought a conditioner and not a shampoo, even though they shared vey similar labels.

My wife has to move text away from me if we go out on a dinner date, otherwise I'll be focussed on it vs her.
