Howdy from the Buckeye State

Hi All
I just joined your group and thought I'd come in and post to tell a little about myself .
I'm 54, from Ohio ,lived in the same town my whole life . I've always loved to read but lately have gotten into a reading slump,so I thought maybe a book discussion group might kick start me into reading more .
I do most of my reading on my Kindle .I recently also got a Fire and a Nook,so I do all my reading at this point using one of them or the other .
I like reading many types of books ,but I'd say my favorites are true crime ,memoirs, history ,and books like that .
The only type books I really don't care much for are romance and sci-fi,but that doesnt mean they aren't good ,it only means they aren't my cup of tea.
Looking forward to some good discussions and meeting some new readers in here .

Welcome to BookTalk.org. I'm not into romance novels or sci-fi either. But what about fantasy genre? You know - swords, sorcerers, dragons, etc...?
