Chapter 8 & 9 make me sleepy

WAKE UP!Hehe. I finished chapter 2 yesterday. I thought it was boring. It made some interesting points about why certain groups of people have been more successful than others, but the description of the varying climates and geology of the Polynesian islands didn't exactly have me on the edge of my seat. i was worried that some of you might find it a little tedious. Part 3 is excellent though, the discussion of germs and disease, technology, etc.
