WANTED: Non-Fiction Suggestions of FREE Books for Group Discussion

Many of us have expressed an interest in periodically reading and discussing books that are available online absolutely FREE. So this thread is an effort to generate a small list of FREE online NON-FICTION books that we can read and talk about together. Once we've generated enough suggestions we'll do a poll and select one or two winners.

Please post your suggestions in this thread and include a link to where your non-fiction book suggestion can be read in its entirety online for free. If you can't find a free version of the book please withhold the suggestion till you're able to provide that crucial element.

Your suggestion will hold more weight if you explain why you're making the suggestion. And your suggestion will certainly hold more weight if your suggestion isn't too massive or difficult to read.

Since this will be a FREE book nobody has to order a physical copy. There is no delay while we wait for an ordered book to ship to us. There is no way to tell when this particular discussion period will start and end because we don't yet know how many people are interested in participating. We also don't know who will make suggestions and how long it will take to generate enough suggestions to do a poll. So just go search for books and come back here and share the good ones with us. We'll hopefully get to the point where we're ready to pick one soon.

Suzanne suggested 'Prince' by Machiavelli.
I would like to read Travels in the Centre of Africa by Mungo Park.
Any other suggestions?
I also downloaded What is Man? and other essays by Mark Twain, but no idea what it's like. Here is a link for essays

Suzanne - seems like its only you and me. I'll read Prince if you want. Or do you want to wait till more people are interested?
