My name is Rebekah Michel and I am the author of A Redhead's Journey through Madness. My book deals with mental illness, drugs and abuse. I was raised by my father, a former Marine who idolized Hitler. My mother has schizophrenia. Tragically my sister died of alcoholism and my baby brother killed himself. I have been in and out of mental hospitals out of my life. This is the story of how I learned to never give up hope.
