Zionism and Palestine

Unread post

Chapter 26, section iii. includes some consideration of the Turkish attitude towards the Jewish presence in Palestine, and the growing Zionist movement to create a Jewish homeland. This material ought, I believe, to contribute to our understanding of the modern conflict between Israel and Palestine. I can't help but think that Djemal's policy towards Jewish refugees in Palestine helped to spur on the modern situation. Any thoughts?
