EDIT: It's possible that different books may be off a page number or 2....I am specifically referring to the pages containing Knecht's letter to Tegularius....

I think I found it on pg. 118 in my 1990 edition. It is in Chapter 3: Years of Freedom. Does that sound like the right place? If so, I am close, too.

Yes...that's it. It is Knecht's 'monologue' if you will....the letter starts out, "Let me remind you of the time the two of us, assigned to the same group, were so eagerly working on our first sketches for Glass Bead Games...."
