What does [Bot] stand for?

Unread post

I know it is a silly question, and I wasn't sure where to post it. But I have noticed several users have the suffix [Bot] following their names. Is there some significance to this, or is it just a personal quirk? :?

Yes Dexter's answer is right bot is automated web crawler, and its task is to crawl our pages and index in the search engine so that our index and proper optimized pages will come in search records. Correct me if i am wrong.
