That storm was heading directly at us for the longest time, so we was rather nervous. But last minute it took a turn for the east and landed south of the Tampa Bay area. We had very moderate rainfall and no winds at all. The people south of us were devastated, so I'd say we really lucked out.

It has slowed to a weak category 3 now, and it is not supposed to directly hit us anyway. We'll probably have some strong winds and heavy rains, but nothing worse. Those poor people in Polk County are going to get hit again it seems.
