If you were God which of the following things would you prevent?
Pretend you're God. Let's go with the Christian God as commonly defined by contemporary Christianity as all-knowing, all-powerful and all-good.
Knowing you can do as you please look over this list of 25 and click on all of the ones you would have prevented if you could have prevented them.
If there are items you would not prevent even if you had the power to prevent them please share your rationale.
And finally please give your best answer why you would prevent all or some of these items from happening yet the Christian God didn't or doesn't prevent any of them from happening.

WOW!! what a blast that was
Mrs Bieber now has a son called Cedric who is an extremely skilled neurosurgeon and doesn't pretend to sing, youkrst will be pleased.
and Cheetahs are now vegetarian
i went 25/25 and was fascinated how little deliberation was required, 23 of 'em were no brainers, didn't even hesitate.
i didn't have the heart to prevent justin existing so i just modified him.
and i had to think about the cheetahs but then i thought "oh screw it, i'm god, just fix it freddie"
oh and i couldn't resist making Chomsky president while i was there that should fix the fuckers
oh damn they've assasinated him already, that was quick.... must dash got a few more alterations to make

I chose everything except gazelles, Justin Bieber, and the murder of my son. Not sure why, I think he needed to learn a lesson. Er, no I just felt like it at that moment.
Reminds me of this, posted previously.

Re: If you were God which of the following things would you prevent?
I chose only the ones that didn't involve manipulating human free will, just to see what the tally would be. There were seven of them I think. I'm sure a theological mind would still find a way to justify them though. It's sick, in a way. It really is the same thing as justifying evil, in the name of an idea.

I chose all where innocent people suffer which is in every single case. Denying Hitler and Pol Pot their free will in an effort to save millions of innocent lives seems like a fair trade-off.

I've posted this poll to our Facebook page to hopefully attract some new critical thinkers to our forums.
Facebook Stats
As of this very moment we have 7,621 likes on our Facebook page now. I predict losing 25+ people because this question makes them think too much.
Forum Stats
When I posted this poll to our Facebook page our forums had 38 people on them with 51 people having logged in over the past 24 hours.

Of course it isn't!!!! Nobody feels that any of those things are just or fair. Life isn't fair and there is no justice.Interbane:

It makes me believe in a force for evil. When you consider what evil men inflict, it makes me wonder what inspires such evil.
It makes me consider that if there is a force for evil.....then there must be a force for good.
Philosophers have been pondering this for centuries. I just happen to think it is a subject worth considering.......and is by no means as simplistic as looking at the list and deciding that there cannot be a God.
Q: Why is there suffering in World?
A: Because there is no God.....
What sort of an answer is that?

If I were God i would prevent mankind from breaking the commandment "love thy neighbor as thyself"
the rest would take care of itself.
thanks
