Post The Laci Peterson case - a poll worth taking
Court TV web site with continuous coverage of the Laci Peterson case. Read up...and think hard about this question. I'm going to leave this poll as a sticky-topic (kept on top of the forum) until after the case is over. Let's discuss it and see who predicts the outcome accurately...

Is Scott Peterson guilty of murdering Laci? ...and will he be found innocent or guilty by the jury?

My opinion is that Scott is guilty, but will be found innocent. The guy has the best attorneys money can buy, and in this world money gets results. Scott will walk away with that damn smirk on his face.

Here is a secondary prediction if Scott is found innocent. Unlike OJ Simpson, who has the money for bodyguards and adequate security systems, Scott Peterson will be largely exposed to the dangers of being well known and widely accepted as a murdering bastard. Scott will be killed within a few years after he is pronounced innocent. But by whom?

Sorry, I can't make a judgement here. (no poll option either...*throws a ball at Chris* Although I've followed the case as far as media goes, I don't find that I have enough info to make a call like this.

Not enough people are showing an interest in this poll, so I'll unstick it and let it get pushed down the list. When the trial is over and Scott receives his sentence we can take a second look at this thread/poll.

Scott got the death penalty today. While I'm not excited to see anyone executed...he deserves death. The bastard murdered his wife and son; the two people that should have been able to trust him to protect them more than anyone else on this planet. I'd push the button to inject the poison.
