It's to the tune of Mr. Sandman...try to keep the rhythm in your head as you read it...it works much better that way...sorry about the derogatory nature. I wrote it after a week long dialogue with a creationist...had to take out my frustrations somewhere-

I'm a Fundie(fundamentalist) Kenny Meek 2002

I'm a fundie,
I'm not that bright
I am a soldier for the religious right
Some people look at me and call me crazy
My line of inquiry is just plain lazy

We are fundies
The Bible we'll thump
We're going to tell you who you can and can't hump
Don't want to hear us, I know you're a dreadin'
Our whole agenda ends in armageddon

I'm a fundie,
Israel rules,
We will annihilate those Islamic fools
It's going to be just like it says in the Bible
Too bad our whole routine is genocidal

I'm a fundie,
This is my game
Flush out the commies, and start namin' names
The Ten Commandments, for them we will lobby,
Hey never mind the code of Hammurabi

We are fundies
We'll pull and we'll push
We will stay allied with Dubuya Bush
We'll make the world adhere to our doctrine
We're just as full of shit as Johnny Cochran

In the Bible
Creation you see,
There are no monkeys in my family tree
Adam and Eve, they lived in the garden,
and Noah's Ark is real I beg your pardon

Jerry Falwell
and Tim Lahaye
They're sure to persecute you if you are gay,
They want to regulate your orgasmic function,
Do not comply you'll get a court injunction

They're's Guyana
and heaven's gate
Break out the Kool-Aid before it's too late,
We'll be raptured yes you'll see

That is hilarious. I wrote something about bringing back the Inquisition as a way of working out my anger and frustrations with fundies at this school that I graduated from. As soon as I remember it, I'll probably write it here.

Rev. Jared was actually named after Jared Diamond...only cuz I happened to be sitting in the can and a thought of him crossed the thought that I needed to come up with a name for the Rev.....and so it was...
