A Crisis in America by Stephen Paine is definitely a must-read book as it tackles the power of religious fundamentalism that affects the American aspects.
This is the most interesting & informative I have read so far. This is an awakening for Americans to understand and be fully aware that they are being controlled by religio-political tactics that penetrates on them. Paine is an amazing author with a big heart for humanity. I believe that through this book we will be able to see and understand how the government and religion was corrupted in such a way that American life was affected with it.
Thank you, Humanity, for the recommendation. There are so many books out there that we might spend our limited time reading, so it helps to have someone speak from personal experience. Since I may not be able to get to this, though, , I wouldn't mind at all hearing more about the book from you. There are quite a few problems in the country that various people are ready to call crises, so what I'm wondering first of all is what evidence the author provides that religion (fundamentalist, I assume) presents a genuine crisis. Thanks.
