Post Scrolling Pane
Sometimes when I drop by Booktalk during work, I do it for a little nugget to ponder while running around doing my thing. The sidebar where recent posts scroll is what I primarily use and is very helpful to quickly navigate to new posts or responses in popular threads. Is there a way to make a longer list of say 30 recent posts and make the list stationary so I don't have to wait to browse it? If this were an option in the left hand pane it would even be good. Just an idea!

We currently have lots of donated books that need to be advertised in the sidebars so making the scroll window taller right now is not practical. But it is a fantastic idea and one we'll make happen soon.

I'm going to stop advertising donated book directly on our sidebars for a full 30 days as they take up too much space. I might add them for a week or two and then place them on our Featured Book Suggestions page. The sidebars are needed more for paid advertising and useful features such as the scrolling "Recent Topics" window.

Few people stick to the home page for an extended period of time. And every time you change pages and return to the home page the Recent Topics box will be updated.
