Thank goodness this is almost over... this book is packed with filler. The first couple chapters were a riot but now it seems like the book wants to hurry up and wait... to rush rush rush for something that's never on the next page. This is very light reading.

I agree. I found American Gods to be much more interesting and thought provoking. Perhaps the lack of participation in the Forum was affected by the writing. Also, maybe Gaiman should stick to writing alone.
