That's certainly an ... accurate portrayal in the wonderful world of political surveys. It allows so much room for Republicans to possibly say what they mean to say.

It's amusing the consider the liberal version of those questions:

Do you support Obama's cap-and-trade plan to prevent millions of deaths and worldwide suffering that would otherwise occur due to global warming?

Do you support Obama's health care plan to provide health care to 30 million Americans, saving the lives of 30000 people every year and letting millions of people, including many children, receive the necessary medical care that they otherwise wouldn't receive?

Every once in a while I get a letter address to "Citizens concerned about immigration," which asks my opinion on various questions regarding those immigrants that are apparently ruining my job prospects. And no, there was little effort on the part of the author to differentiate between legal and illegal immigration.

I will occasionally mail them back with sarcastic responses (they're paying for postage, after all). Push polls can be fun, if you don't let them bother you.
