Rather excited first-time novelist.
Hi everyone
My name's Robert Clear and I'm a 28 year old writer from London. My new novel The Cambridge List has just been published on Kindle, and to help it along I've made my first foray into the world of blogging. (Thoroughly big news for me, of course, though possibly less than world-shattering for everyone else.) I thought I'd take a tentative step onto the forum, though I apologise in advance for the self-promotion.
When I'm not busy shaking my fist at my broken laptop I'm trying to remember how to use a pen and paper. My list of interests is pretty much confined to one thing: dark humour. Really dark humour. I love it. I love writing about it, listening to it, slapping my thighs and rocking back and forth to it, and if you love it too then you might just enjoy The Cambridge List.
If you download my deliciously dark novel onto your kindle and then turn the dear little device over, just imagine that instead of the sleek grey casing you can see the back of the book. It'll probably say something like this:
James Connor thinks that murdering his former professors in cold blood is rather a bad idea. Unfortunately his head has been commandeered by a murderous family of Greek gods, so he doesn’t have a say in the matter.
