Thank goodness there is an indication I'm a newbie under my name....
I read somewhere while wandering through the site that we could link on a book to purchase and booktalk.org would get something out of it.
So I'd like to get The Lucifer Effect and Responsiblity and Judgement but I'm not able to come up with where I saw that information or if it's even accurate for all booktalk selections?

In previous book discussions there was a thread that read “buy the book here", or something like that, with a link inside that would take you to amazon. Looking at both book forums, I don’t see such a thread. Which leaves me to believe that it possibly wasn’t set-up for these two book discussions, as they had been started very late amidst the transfer from the old format to the new. So I guess you should just buy it directly from Amazon.
Meanwhile, though I don’t mean to discourage you in any way from buying or participating in either or both discussions, I want to make sure you’re aware that the discussions officially end at the end of December. That doesn’t mean that you can’t keep contributing to the discussion, but you can’t really be guaranteed much participation past the designated time. That being said, I’m hoping that the Responsibility and Judgment discussion does continue past it’s allotted time. I started participating so late in it, I’ve only just scratched the surface of what I’d like to write about. |

| If you are looking to participate in the "Responsibility and Judgment" discussion, I can also guarantee that I'll continue to keep tabs on it past the official end of the discussion period, and will be glad to talk about it. |

So many changes are happening that I haven't added the Buy Here links lately. The fee we ear is so small that I'd recommend you just buy the book anywhere for now. In time there will be direct links again. |

| In regards buying books through the links, does it make a difference if having clicked the link on booktalk, I get sent to amazon.com but then select to buy through amazon.co.uk? |

In all honesty I am not sure how it works, but the reward is so trivial that I'd rather you just get the book and participate. Earning a little money is nice, but the value of having an active discussion far outweights the value of ad revenue. So buy through the links or at your bookstore. Either way helps BookTalk. |
