Oh but Rex Harrison in no way compares to the voice of Eddie Murphy as the donkey in Shrek.
I love that character, and often imagine his presence commenting in my head about my day-to-day situations. He's my constant companion.

Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish.

A song called "Why" by Rascal Flatts. I was reminded of it when I heard of Steve Jobs' death.

Today it's "Besame mucho" - a latin classic ballad.

"From childhood's hour I have not been as others were
I have not seen as others saw
I could not bring my passions from a common spring
From the same source I have not taken my sorrow
I could not awake my heart to joy at the same tone
And all I loved - I loved alone"

Well, it's a departure from my earlier musical posts, but my tastes have always been eclectic. Lately it's been one of Weird Al Yankovic's newer songs. I'll let you decide if you understand the humor of it by letting you watch it here:

I haven't heard the Gaga song so parody attempts will mostly fail with me... but I did get a kick out of the ~ wear cheese on my head ~ line, or whatever it was. Beyond that I want to comment on how stunning Al looks - - he's got to be getting up there in age. I know he had quite a bit of makeup on but unless there were some serious editing effects in place he's aged quite well.

Getting involved in the Occupy movement and worried about the lack of focus and organization, brought this one to mind:
