Post Re: Catching Fire
What exactly are the Hunger Games?

I think that they are some kind of survival games, but I don't really understand what the point is.

Post Re: Catching Fire
How did the main character go from being so poor to being very rich?

I think it was because of the Games, but I don't know how the Games could make her rich.

Post Re: Catching Fire
The Hunger Games is what the Capital came up with after there was a revolution. As punishment to the districts a boy and a girl from each district are put into an arena and must fight to the death and only one will win.

Post Re: Catching Fire
The reason she is rich now is because if you win the games, the Capital will give you money for winning.

there was a revolution because the districts did not agree with the capital's decitions and they ended up destroying district 13.
