Poltergeist was the only horror movie that I like, because to this day, it gives me goosebumps to watch it. It was psychologically terrifying, not in your face gory.

That is what my Mom used to tell me, that as a child she was very scared of the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz.

Now I have to wonder where the phrase "When monkeys fly out of my butt" originated.

I did when I was, like, 7 quite a while after it came out. Can't say I remember much other than the Bohemian Rhapsody scene. :]

I never watched Bruce Almighty, but I'm fairly certain the term "monkeys fly out of my butt" has been around since I was young. Not as long as "when pigs fly" however.

And also...not exactly a movie but sort of a TV program... it's called Friday The 13th. Not sure of anyone of you remember that.
